If you would like to have a member of our installation team contact you to discuss your priorities, register with Solarize Mid Maine. No commitment necessary.
Our installation partner will contact you to provide a free phone consultation and preliminary estimate. If you are interested in finalizing a price, they will come to your site and provide you with a quote.
If you are planning to secure a loan to pay for your installation, be sure to start the process in advance of the community buying deadline to confirm your funding source.
If you would like to proceed with the project and want to benefit from group pricing, sign a contract before the community buying window closes at noon on July 29, 2017.
Once your contract has been signed, your project will be scheduled. Installations will be completed by the end of October 2017.
Insource Renewables of Pittsfield is serving the Sustain Mid Maine Coalition in this project. Insource Renewables led the Solarize Freeport effort in 2015 and has a strong history of providing quality solar energy installations to the area.
Through the process of organizing central Maine property owners to participate in the project, the Sustain Mid Maine Coalition has been able to obtain firm pricing from our installation partners. Each system is given a base price based on the system size and is evaluated for additional costs (referred to as "adders") that may increase system costs. These adders may be due to the size of the system, the type of roofing, the existing electrical service, or the need to mount the system on a ground structure.
The word is out about Solarize Mid Maine and multiple media outlets have featured the effort.
